Chain Words ("the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Chain Words collects minimal data to operate the game:

• Wallet address: When you voluntarily connect your Solana wallet, we store your public wallet address to display your profile on the leaderboard and save game progress. We never access your private keys or seed phrase.
• Game data: Your game results (attempts, solved status, streak count) are stored to provide statistics, leaderboards, and 1v1 matchmaking functionality.
• Transaction data: If you purchase optional power-ups, the Solana transaction signature is recorded to verify the purchase.

2. Data We Do NOT Collect

• Personal identifying information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Browsing history or app usage analytics
• Private keys, seed phrases, or wallet balances

3. How We Use Your Data

Data is used exclusively to:

• Display your game statistics and streak
• Show your ranking on the global leaderboard
• Match you with opponents in 1v1 mode
• Verify power-up purchases

4. Data Storage

Game data is stored on Supabase servers located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. We retain game data for as long as your account is active.

5. Third-Party Services

• Supabase: Database hosting (EU region). Supabase Privacy Policy
• Helius: Solana RPC provider for transaction processing. Helius
• CoinGecko: Token price data for SKR conversion. No user data is shared with CoinGecko.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Leaderboard data (wallet address and game stats) is publicly visible by design.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Play the game without connecting a wallet (no data stored)
• Request deletion of your game data by contacting us
• Disconnect your wallet at any time

8. Children's Privacy

Chain Words does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The game involves optional cryptocurrency transactions and is intended for users who are of legal age to use cryptocurrency in their jurisdiction.

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
